Pizza Runner - Alpha

ABOUT

Pizza Runner is a fast-paced 3-lane endless runner where you take on the role of a young pizza delivery driver racing through the city. You must dodge obstacles, collect pizza slices, and deliver completed pizzas through delivery portals while trying to achieve the highest possible score.

The game is in its alpha phase, feel free to leave comments and suggestions for improvements. More features will be added for a future release.

HOW TO PLAY

Run, dodge, collect, and deliver! 🍕

Switch between three lanes,  jump and slide to avoid obstacles, and collect pizza slices along the way. Complete your pizzas and deliver them on time to earn stars and increase your score multiplier.

Grab power-ups to survive longer, keep your star rating above zero, and aim for the highest score possible!

MECHANICS

Pizza Runner is all about surviving as long as possible while delivering pizzas, maintaining your reputation, and pushing your score higher and higher.

• ⭐ Star Rating: Your stars represent your performance, and your survival. You start with 1 star and can reach up to 5 stars. Successful deliveries earn stars, while bad or late deliveries make you lose them. Reach 0 stars and it’s Game Over! Your rating also affects your score multiplier, so better deliveries mean higher scores.
• 🍕 Build & Deliver Pizzas: Collect 8 pizza slices to complete a pizza. Delivery portals appear along your run: a green portal means your pizza is complete and ready to deliver, while a red portal means it’s incomplete. Entering a green portal rewards you; entering a red one costs you a star.
• ⏱️ Deliver on Time: Once a delivery starts, you have 1 minute to deliver your pizza. If you’re late, you’ll lose ½ a star every 20 seconds until you make a delivery.  
• 📦 Pizza Box: Lets you assemble and carry a second pizza, allowing you to prepare an additional delivery.
• 🌶️ Pepperoni: A powerful temporary boost that gives you invincibility, greatly increases your speed and boosts your score multiplier. It also protects you from the penalty of a bad delivery while active.
• 🪖 Helmet: Protects you from one obstacle hit. Once it saves you, it’s consumed.
• 🏃 Stay Alive: Switch between the three lanes, jump and slide to avoid obstacles. Hitting an obstacle without protection ends your run.

KEYBOARD:

• Move:
  • Left: A (Q if you are using an azerty keyboard), or left keyboard arrow.
  • Right: D or right keyboard arrow.
  • Slide: S or bottom keyboard arrow.
  • Jump: Space bar.
  • Pause: ESC.

CONTROLLER:

• Move:
  • Left: D-Pad left.
  • Right: D-Pad right.
  • Slide: Right face button.
  • Jump: Bottom face button.
  • Pause: Start button.
